Burrr!  Someone left the back door open—as we used to say when cold weather started to move in.  Today is one of those days. 

Well “Hello” to you all!  Hope it’s a good day for all of you and that you are all looking to see or by now have seen Santa Claus.  I know I’m a little old for that kind of stuff, but it was so wonderful as a boy, and I think most of us can look back on those days with fond memories.  Kinda sad sometimes because so many of those who made it so wonderful are not with us any longer, BUT the memories are good!!

Talked to the Director today and he’s just looking forward to a New Year of fun in the sun in Masonry and in the Shrine.  And a Happy New Year to all!!

Noble Don did mention that there is an election coming up soon, but that will be all gone by the time you read this.  So there!

Did you make any ornaments for your tree this year?  Like getting colored paper and making chains to go around the tree?  Cutting paper in the form of bells?  Making ornaments with flour and water.  My, what good times we had.

You see I am a dirt road sport.  Then the dirt road was 15^th street and I was a sport about doing anything for fun.  Roll a tire, push a bicycle rim with a stick, look for doodle bugs.  And then I got a real basketball.  Enough about me.

We have a Director Staff meeting next week and I hope there are a pile of people there.  Maybe it’ll be better than the last one.  Not many people and a lot of talk.
