Classic Ladies Betty Heminway
Summer is upon
us and that means that we do not meet in June and August. On
July eleventh we will treat ourselves to lunch at Po Folks
at 11:30. Instead of cooking, we will enjoy being served a
"yummy" meal of our choice. Please call Madeline at 785-
2506 or me (Betty) at 233-4469
if you plan to attend. We need to let the restaurant know
how many will be attending so that they can plan for us.
We surely did enjoy the Ceremonial lunch-eon in April, thanks to the generosity of Bob and Jeanne Callahan. It was a delicious meal and the young lady who sang had a beautiful voice. As always we continue to enjoy the First Fri-day Night dinners. The food is always very good and the units who are participating are to be commended. The entertainment is always enjoyable. It gives us an opportunity to visit with friends we might not otherwise see very often. Putting the address labels on the "Voice of Shaddai" continues to be our monthly thanks for all you do for us. And it gives us an op-portunity to spend an hour or so together to catch up on what is happening. Have a great summer and if you travel, do so safely.
